Communications Coordinator
Aatish Gurung has assumed the role of Communications Coordinator within our organization, bringing with him a rich background and extensive experience. A person of Bhutanese heritage, Aatish is an active participant in the Women Deliver Young Leaders program, fostering connections with fellow advocates and leveraging resources to enhance their impact.
With a background in both community-based and international organizations in New York City, Aatish possesses a diverse skill set in social justice movements and digital organizing. A graduate of the City College of New York with a B.S. and the University of South Wales, UK, with a MPH, Aatish combines academic rigor with practical experience.
Fluent in five languages—Nepali, Dzongkha, Tshangla, Hindi, and English—Aatish also has intermediate proficiency in Tibetan. This linguistic versatility enhances their ability to engage with diverse communities and contributes to their effectiveness as a communicator and advocate. Aatish Gurung is poised to make significant contributions to Adhikaar’s communication strategies and overall mission.
