Board Member
Rina Gurung is an associate court attorney and works at one of the Courts within the New York State Unified Court System. Before that Rina was a staff attorney at Legal Services NYC which provides free legal assistance to low-income individuals and families throughout the five boroughs. Prior to that Rina was a legal fellow at TakeRoot Justice (formerly Community Development Project of the Urban Justice Center) where she focused on preservation of affordable housing in New York City. Rina has dedicated her career to public interest/service law and continues to serve communities of color and marginalized population.
Rina is an active member of various bar associations. She serves as one of the co-chairs of the Government Service and Public Interest Committee of the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY).
