Adhikaar participates in NWGN conference
On Saturday, August 9th, eleven members of Adhikaar team, including board member, staff, youth and adult members, and volunteers attended the first Nepali women's conference in Storrs, CT. Board Chair Malabika Das and Executive Director Luna Ranjit presented two workshops on domestic violence and Adhikaar's community needs assessment project, respectively.

Adhikaar receives capacity development grants
Adhikaar has received a grant from the Fund for New Citizens to develop our fundraising capacity, and has hired Rinku Bastola as a new Development and Administrative Coordinator. Earlier, Adhikaar was also chosen for the Advocates for Community Empowerment (ACE) to strengthen our advocacy skills.
